Change Password

Update your account password to keep your account secure

Regularly updating your password helps keep your Financio account secure. You can change your password at any time from the Security settings.

Accessing Password Settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings.

  2. In the Settings sidebar, click Security.

  3. Locate the Change Password section.

Changing Your Password

  1. Enter your Current Password to verify your identity.

  2. Enter your New Password.

  3. Enter your new password again in Confirm New Password.

  4. Click Update Password.

You'll see a success message once your password has been changed. You'll remain logged in - no need to sign in again.

Password Requirements

Your new password must meet these requirements:

  • At least 8 characters long
  • Contains both letters and numbers

Strong Password Tips

Use a unique password you haven't used elsewhere. Consider using a password manager like 1Password or LastPass to generate and store secure passwords.

Troubleshooting

"Current password is incorrect"

Double-check that you're entering your existing password correctly. If you've forgotten it, sign out and use the Forgot Password link on the login page.

"Passwords do not match"

Ensure the new password and confirmation password are identical. Try typing them slowly to avoid typos.

"Password must contain both letters and numbers"

Add at least one letter and one number to your password. For example, change mypassword to mypassword1.
