Authentication Security
Firebase Authentication
We use Google Firebase for authentication, providing enterprise-grade security backed by Google's infrastructure and security expertise.

Passwords are never stored in plain text. Firebase uses industry-standard hashing algorithms to securely store your credentials.

What We Don't Do
To keep your data safe, there are certain things we never do:
- We never store your bank login credentials
- We never sell your personal or financial data
- We never access your accounts without your explicit consent
- We never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
Your Role in Security
Security is a shared responsibility. Here's how you can help protect your account:
- Use a strong, unique password for your Financio account
- Never share your login credentials with anyone
- Log out when using shared or public computers
- Keep your email account secure, as it's used for password recovery
- Report any suspicious activity to us immediately

If you discover a security vulnerability or have concerns about the security of your account, please contact us immediately at security@financio.au. We take all security reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
