Yes, security is our top priority. We use bank-level encryption to protect your data, and we never sell or share your information with third parties. Your data is stored securely in Australia using industry-standard security practices.

Can I connect my bank accounts automatically?

Financio does not support automatic bank account linking, but we support importing transactions from your bank statements in CSV and QIF formats. Our smart rules automatically categorise your transactions based on merchant names, so imported transactions are organised instantly. You can also add transactions manually for complete control over your financial data.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

You get full access to all features during your trial period with no credit card required. If you decide Financio isn't for you, simply don't subscribe and your account will be deleted with 5 business days.

Can I track multiple accounts and currencies?

Yes, you can track unlimited accounts including bank accounts, credit cards, cash, and savings accounts. Financio also supports multiple currencies, making it perfect for tracking overseas investments or travel expenses.

How do categories and tags work?

Categories help you organise transactions by type (groceries, utilities, entertainment, etc.) with a two-level hierarchy for detailed tracking. Tags add another layer of organisation, letting you mark transactions with custom labels like "tax deductible" or "holiday spending".

Can I share access with my partner or family?

Yes, household sharing allows you to invite family members to view and manage your shared finances together. Each household member will need their own paid Financio account to access the shared financial data.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings and click 'Delete Account' to complete the process. Accounts that are past their trial expiration without billing information will automatically be deleted within 5 business days.
